Texturing the Chess Pieces

When it came to texturing the chess pieces, I didn’t want to just make them black and white. I wanted to have some sort of texture and substance other than the base colour. I decided to make them out of stone and make them looked a little cracked and used. I played around with each colour until I found something I liked, them created a smart material to make sure I got the same effect on every piece.
